Location: Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales
Salary: £92.59 per day (minimum)

Job Description:
A leading specialist provider in Aberdare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with children with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder, and challenging behaviour. Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise learners with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder, or challenging behaviour
Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
Help staff prepare classrooms for lessons
Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
Support the delivery of lessons alongside the class teacher
Assist learners during break times and lunchtimes
Engage learners in classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Follow the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (support available)
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Right to work in the UK
