Location: UK (site-based) | Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

About the role

Our client, a leading UK construction contractor, is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to help run site activities and keep projects safe, on time, on budget, and fully compliant. You'll support the Site/Project Manager and take day-to-day ownership of the site team.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day operational duties on site from inception to completion
• Manage site activities, including supervising labour, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and quality control
• Drive on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management, and promote a positive safety culture
• Liaise with buyers on material procurement and buying opportunities
• Build strong relationships with internal and external contacts, reporting progress on projects
• Liaise with residents and Customer Experience Coordinators
