Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in Caerphilly, Wales. This position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in the foundation phase and fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment. As a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant in Caerphilly, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant based in Caerphilly, Wales, your daily duties will include:

Providing general classroom support to pupils in the foundation phase in Caerphilly Wales.
Collaborating with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities.
Supporting the development of pupils’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
Assisting with behaviour management and helping to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and language requirements.
Contributing to the organisation and smooth running of the classroom.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will need:

Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills for this role in Caerphilly, Wales.
Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children’s learning and development.
Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
