Job Description

Energis is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager for our busy food manufacturing client based near Dungannon. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising supply chain processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Supply Chain professional to develop their career with a successful local business who are continuing to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain from procurement to distribution.
• Manage stock levels, ensure FIFO rotation, and forecast demand to minimise waste.
• Accurately forecast demand using historical data and market trends, adjusting procurement and distribution strategies to meet fluctuating customer requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers, ensure timely deliveries, and monitor performance
• Coordinate transportation, cold chain maintenance, and timely deliveries.
• Ensure product quality, safety standards (HACCP, BRCGS), and regulatory compliance.
• Develop strategies to reduce product waste and enhance sustainability.
• Lead and motivate supply chain team members.
• Track KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain management within manufacturing, preferably within the food sector
• Strong IT skills – MS Office and supply chain software such as SAP / Oracle
• Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
