Job Description

Based in Co Down, our client is a well established engineering business who, due to continued business success, have a need for a Supply Chain Planner.

The successful Supply Chain Planner will work closely with key suppliers to ensure that plant/materials are delivered within an agreed timeframe, ensuring alignment with the project programme.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Supply Chain Quality engineers, monitor supplier performance against agreed timeline.
• Ensure on time delivery with frequent supplier engagement.
• Drive supplier meeting on plant / materials progress.
• Highlight any potential risks to the supply chain.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Continue to develop and manage supplier relationships.

Criteria:

• 2-3 years previous experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar
• Strong organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and cross-functional teams,
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
• Good attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Desirable Criteria

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience with problem solving techniques.

Salary is in the region of £35-40k dependant upon experience. The role comes with a range of benefits including pension and life assurance.
