About the role
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated Van Drivers to join the team.
Shift Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
- Monday to Friday
Start time: 09:00am
Pay Rate : £13.00 per hour with overtime at £19.50 after 40 hours
Location: Carlisle, CA6
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial)
- 60+ stops per day
- Bulk Collections & Bulk deliveries
- Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
- Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
- Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- have 1 years experience with multi-drop delivery
- Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).
- Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
- Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
