We’re looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to deliver customer orders safely and professionally. As a familiar face for our customers, you’ll represent Pilgrim Foodservice with pride, providing excellent service at every stop.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering customer orders safely and handling products with care.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Keeping your vehicle clean, hygienic and ready for the road.
- Checking loads are safe and secure.
- Providing friendly, professional service and responding to customer queries.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and handling customer payments securely.
- Following driving, working time, health and safety, and food safety requirements.
What you’ll bring
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A safe, courteous approach to driving and pride in looking after your vehicle.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A reliable, flexible attitude and good attention to detail.
- Readiness for an active, physically demanding role involving manual handling of customer orders.
You’ll work closely with our transport team to keep deliveries running smoothly and our customers supplied.
