Are you an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a strong salary and plenty of overtime? This role offers the chance to work across Maidstone and the surrounding area, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a varied range of forklift trucks, with manufacturer training to help you develop your technical skills.

What will you be doing?

As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you’ll travel to customer sites across Maidstone and the surrounding area to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, helping to keep equipment safe and running reliably.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklift trucks.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.

• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard.

• Ensuring equipment is safe and compliant with relevant standards.

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from engineers with practical experience and a good understanding of mechanical or electrical maintenance.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience as a forklift engineer or in a similar engineering role.

• An NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline (preferred, but not essential).

• A full UK driving licence.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• A reliable, customer-focused approach to your work.
