The Role

As a Resource Base Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have a variety of additional needs, providing tailored support both in small groups and on an individual basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive, structured and nurturing environment that enables every pupil to thrive.

This is an ongoing, full-time position working:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:25am – 3:45pm
• Term time only

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant who is:

NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare (or any relevant teaching assistant/childcare qualification)

Calm, patient and resilient

Confident working with children with additional needs

Reliable and consistent in their approach

Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

A strong team player who works effectively with colleagues

Passionate about supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development

Committed to providing high-quality support and fostering independence
