Key Responsibilities

As Pastry Chef De Partie, you’ll take responsibility for the dessert section, creating exceptional sweet dishes and maintaining consistently high standards.

• Take ownership of a dessert menu featuring classic and modern dishes

• Produce beautifully presented desserts and pastry items to an excellent standard

• Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain quality and consistency

• Prepare and deliver afternoon teas to a high standard

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations

• Maintain excellent standards during busy service periods

• Organise your section effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented Pastry Chef with a passion for creating outstanding desserts and delivering memorable dining experiences.

• Previous experience in a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen

• Experience working in an AA Rosette-awarded establishment

• Proven experience producing afternoon teas

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in food presentation

• The ability to maintain high standards under pressure

• A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to teamwork
