Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer based in Derby looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm and security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems to the required industry standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of fire and security systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete accurate service records and inspection reports following each site visit.
* Liaise with clients on-site to communicate findings, recommendations, and any remedial works required.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant British Standards and company procedures.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems.
* Demonstrable knowledge of fire alarm systems such as Advanced, Gent, Hochiki, or Morley.
* Experience working with intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent fire alarm qualification (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB installer/engineer accreditation (desirable).
