Are you an experienced Electronic Security Remedial Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of electronic security systems to hire an Electronic Security Remedial Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults across a range of electronic security systems, ensuring clients receive a prompt, high-quality service that keeps their sites safe and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities
Fault Diagnosis & Remedial Works: Attend client sites to investigate, diagnose, and repair faults across intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems in a timely and professional manner.
Planned Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance visits, ensuring all systems are tested, serviced, and compliant with relevant standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Liaise directly with end-user clients on site, providing clear updates on fault resolution and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Technical Oversight & Reporting: Complete accurate job sheets, service reports, and system documentation, ensuring all records are up to date and handover information is thorough.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with BS EN 50131, BS 8243, and relevant NSI/SSAIB codes of practice, and in line with site-specific health and safety requirements.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
Experience: Minimum 3 years as an Electronic Security Engineer within the electronic security industry, with a focus on remedial or service work.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems; familiarity with platforms such as Texecom, Honeywell, Paxton, Hikvision, or Genetec.
Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of managing reactive callouts and fault-finding across a varied commercial and residential client base.
Soft Skills: Strong fault-finding ability, excellent client-facing communication, and the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Mobility & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UK.
Desirable:
Certifications: NSI/SSAIB accreditation awareness; CSCS or ECS card; SIA licence.
Sector Background: Prior experience working on commercial, retail, or critical infrastructure sites within a service and maintenance environment.
