About the role

Time Appointments are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a successful and growing business.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, varied role and takes pride in keeping things organised, accurate and running smoothly.

 

You’ll be supporting customers and the wider sales team, processing orders, managing information and making sure everything is captured correctly and dealt with promptly.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Checking orders and ensuring all relevant information has been captured
  • Liaising with customers regarding orders, requirements and delivery information
  • Managing customer queries and resolving issues where required
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order records
  • Updating internal systems with relevant sales and delivery information
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure orders are processed smoothly
  • Managing customer expectations around delivery dates
  • Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration
  • Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within Sales Administration, Customer Service or a similar administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A positive, resilient and can-do attitude
  • The confidence to communicate with customers and internal teams
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
