Restaurant Manager – Every evening off, every other weekend off, up to £38K in Newbury

Are you an experienced Restaurant Manager looking for a busy, hands-on role in Newbury where you can lead from the front, develop your team and still enjoy every evening off?

What you will be doing

As Restaurant Manager in Newbury, you will:

• Take day-to-day responsibility for a busy restaurant and cafe operation

• Lead from the floor and set the standard for excellent customer service

• Coach, develop and motivate the team to deliver consistently strong standards

• Delegate effectively and develop your management team to take greater ownership

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure service runs smoothly

• Manage rotas, staffing levels, stock and operational controls

• Maintain excellent food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards

• Drive sales and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance

• Ensure the operation delivers consistently strong hospitality standards

What we’re looking for

You will need:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager within a busy commercial operation

• A strong hospitality background with a genuine passion for customer service

• The confidence to lead from the front and remain hands-on when required

• Strong people-management skills and the ability to develop and delegate

• Commercial awareness and a good understanding of restaurant performance

• The ability to remain organised and maintain high standards during busy service

• Experience managing a varied food and beverage operation

• The ability to reliably travel to Newbury
