A welcoming one-form entry primary school in Guildford is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team and teach a Year 2 class.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate KS1 Teacher / Year 2 Teacher who enjoys creating an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment where children can thrive.
About the Role

Teach a Year 2 class within a one-form entry primary school
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team
Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Contribute to the wider life of the school

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience teaching within KS1 / Year 2 would be beneficial
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
A creative, engaging and inclusive approach to teaching
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential
Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit school team
