Unit Supervisor - School Cook

We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Unit Supervisor, working 30 hours a week, term time only plus 2 days.

Unit Supervisor required, to produce multi choice meals meeting the needs of the school meal service and Head Teacher. This post also required the covering of functions and catering for professional development days and special events with a strong link to the School Heads and support staff.

To be successful in this role you need experience of computer-based systems, also experience in menu planning and costing and at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial Catering environment.

You will have a responsibility for leading a team of catering staff in the provision of Healthy Nutritious meals in line with food-based standards. You will also be responsible for all activities within the service including food production and associated paperwork.
