The school is looking for graduates to come in and take on teaching assistant positions within the school across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for graduates who are looking to go into teaching or someone with a keen interest in working in a school. The school would like to look over graduate CVs and meet graduates for a paid trial or interviews over the next couple weeks. Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Working with and supporting students who require additional support in the classroom Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group. Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed. Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus. Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.REQUIREMENTS This role is ideal for a candidate/graduates who are looking to progress with a school-based career, possibly leading to teaching in the future.
