SEN Teaching Assistant with Medical Responsibilities

We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with Medical Responsibilities to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.

This is a role where you’ll combine your passion for education with specialist medical care for a child with significant needs. You’ll be at the heart of our inclusive school community—supporting learning, inspiring independence, and ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and able to thrive.

• Provide vital medical support (including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care).

• Work alongside teachers to raise attainment and promote inclusion.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and professionals.

• Champion safeguarding and wellbeing across the school.

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).

• Experience working with children or young people in education.

• Calm, resilient, and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills.

• A commitment to equality, safeguarding, and helping every child reach their potential.

• Willingness to undertake paediatric first aid training.
