About the role
Salary: £34,255 + Overtime + Bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 42.5 hours We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a growing engineering business in a brand-new position.
The Role:
- Build complete pumping stations and GRP tank assemblies.
- Install plastic/ductile pipework, valves, pumps and mechanical components from drawings.
- Work inside large tanks/chambers, so good physical fitness and agility are important.
- Basic installation of control panels, with further training provided.
- Support the warehouse when required, including parts picking and general duties.
- Work alongside the Warehouse Manager.
- Good hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
- Confident reading engineering drawings and assembling equipment.
- Pipefitting, pumps, valves, mechanical assembly or similar experience advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently.
- No formal engineering qualifications or PLC experience required.
- £15.15ph / circa £34,255 basic
- Overtime at enhanced rates, typically £2,000+ per year
