Forklift Driver

Our client based in Sharpness, Berkley are looking for a counterbalance driver to join their team on an ongoing basis. For successful candidates this position has the opportunity to become a permanent position following probationary period. 

Canididates with a Counterbalance licence can be upskilled to a Flexi/Bendi at no cost with training directly from the company and a licence provided. 

This role will be starting following an induction and forklift assessment 

Duties:

• Loading/unloading of vehicles of household items (washing machines/tumble dries)
• Safely storing unloaded items in racking and booking products in using a handscanner
• Supporting the picking/packing operation to ensure orders are sent out in a timeley manor
• Completing daily safety operator checks on the forklift used
• Ensuring work area is kept clean throughout the shift

Responsibilities;

• Have an in-date counterbalance licence accredited by RTITB or ITSAAR
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• IT Literate
• Happy with physical work

Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotational shift pattern: 06:00-14:00/09:00-17:00/14:00-22:00

Pay:

• £14.65 per hour
