We are an all age 5-19 school special school catering for 190 pupils with a diverse range of learning needs. We are a PFI/BSF School with exceptional facilities. The Co Headteachers and Governors wish to appoint, an enthusiastic, inspirational, and dedicated SENCo / Lead Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity for an experience teacher with subject lead and management experience to progress further both professionally and personally. You will need to be reliable, committed, an excellent teacher and aspire to develop and lead in the role of SENCo / Lead Practitioner. You should also be caring, trustworthy and an excellent role model for our students and staff with clear motivation to work in a school that seeks to be the best that it can be, amongst staff, students, parents, and governors who are all dedicated to learning and continual improvement.

This role plays a key part in sustaining and further developing high-quality provision for students with a range of SEND and complex needs, driving excellence in professional practice and strengthening adaptive approaches to meet the evolving needs of the school population. You will work with a range of professionals and stakeholders to ensure Educational Health & Care Plans are relevant and appropriate to the needs of all students, attending and leading meetings, disseminating key information and leading the implementation of provision.
