  • Safeguarding: Ensure that individuals are protected from financial hardship and exploitation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and produce reports to track progress and outcomes.

The following skills and experience are beneficial:

  • A relevant qualification in health or social care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people within a care, health, social care, financial, or customer-focused environment, or experience managing finances on behalf of others.
  • Knowledge of community care services and relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
  • Proficiency in using IT applications for record-keeping and reporting.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

  • Compassionate Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to make sound decisions and prioritise effectively in challenging situations.
  • Organisational Excellence: Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to Inclusion: A dedication to equality, dignity, and respect in all practices.

At Nottinghamshire County Council, we offer:

  • A Place to Belong: A friendly, inclusive workplace where everyone is valued.
  • Professional Growth: Ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible working arrangements to support your personal and professional life.
  • Generous Leave: Enjoy a competitive annual leave package plus bank holidays.
  • Supportive Environment: Access to a supportive team culture with regular supervision and peer support.
