Are you passionate about making communities safer and improving the quality of life for residents? Do you have experience tackling anti-social behaviour, working collaboratively with partners, and supporting vulnerable individuals? If so, we would like to hear from you.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Safety Intervention Officer to join our Policy and Partnerships Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a leading role in preventing and addressing anti-social behaviour, working with residents, partner agencies and local communities to deliver positive outcomes.
As our Community Safety Intervention Officer, you will lead on the Council's response to anti-social behaviour, managing complex casework and developing effective interventions to protect residents and support communities. You will work closely with a range of partners, including Hertfordshire Constabulary, housing providers, probation services, voluntary organisations and safeguarding agencies.
You will have significant experience in community safety, preferably anti-social behaviour or within local government or a similar statutory organisation.
You will be vetted by Hertfordshire Constabulary, as this role requires use of their anti-social behaviour case management system.
The post is offered on a full time, permanent basis (36 hours per week).
