Agile working, office base Hatters Space, Nuneaton, with county-wide responsibility across Warwickshire.

As part of our agile working approach, the post holder will occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends. These occasions are periodic rather than routine but are an important aspect of the role.

We are looking for an exceptional and inspiring leader to join our Best Start in Life Service as an Inclusion Practitioner Team Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape an important part of our Best Start in Life Service, ensuring children have the best possible start in life through high-quality, inclusive support and early intervention. Working within a restorative and relationship-based culture, you will champion inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

You will play a key role in embedding restorative and relationship-based practice across the service, supporting teams to work collaboratively with families and partners to achieve better outcomes for children and young people.

Our Inclusion Practitioner Team will work closely with early years providers, families and partner agencies to promote inclusive practice, reduce barriers to participation and improve outcomes for children across Warwickshire, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. As Team Manager, you will lead, support and develop this skilled and dedicated team, ensuring high-quality practice and meaningful impact for children and families.

Key skills and experience required

As an experienced leader, you will be passionate about ensuring every child has the best possible start in life. You will have a strong understanding of inclusion, early intervention and partnership working, together with the ability to inspire others, drive improvement and deliver meaningful outcomes for children, young people and families. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Significant experience of working within children's services, early help, family support, early years inclusion, SEND, education or a related field.
• Proven experience of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of inclusion, early intervention and family-centred practice.
• Experience of implementing and embedding restorative and relationship-based approaches.
• Experience of leading service improvement, innovation and change, with evidence of delivering positive outcomes for children and families.
• Experience of quality assurance frameworks, auditing practice and driving improvements through reflective learning and performance oversight.
• Strong performance management skills, including the use of data and insight to improve service delivery.
• Excellent partnership-working skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across education, health, social care, voluntary and community sectors.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to present information to a range of audiences.
• Experience of supporting and developing staff through coaching, supervision and performance conversations.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
• The ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on operational delivery and continuous improvement.
• Resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to lead confidently through change.
