This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive and highly skilled team that manages a large and diverse ICT estate supporting thousands of users across multiple organisations. Reporting to the Platform Team Leader you will play a key role in ensuring our network services remain secure, resilient and available while helping us deliver modern digital services to our customers.

What will you be doing?
Working as part of our ICT Platform Team, you will help manage and develop our network infrastructure and communications services across both on-premise and cloud-connected environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and maintaining our LAN, WAN, wireless and internet connectivity services.
• Managing and troubleshooting network technologies including routing, switching and secure connectivity.
• Supporting Microsoft Teams administration and associated communication services.
• Working with Microsoft 365 and Azure-connected cloud infrastructure services.
• Monitoring network performance, capacity and availability.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Supporting security, resilience and compliance activities across the network estate. 

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience of supporting enterprise network infrastructure who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies and delivering excellent customer service.

You will have experience in areas such as:

• Network administration and support.
• Routing and switching technologies.
• TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DHCP and DNS.
• Wireless networking and secure connectivity.
• Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 or Azure services.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Technical documentation and service management processes.

Just as importantly, you'll be a team player with strong communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
