Key Responsibilities As an empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored educational support: 1:1 & Small Group Guidance: Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and sensory routines for pupils requiring extra support in Birkenhead. Behaviour & Nurture: Utilize de-escalation strategies and positive reinforcement to build pupil confidence and focus. Classroom Inclusion: Assist the class teacher in adapting core learning activities to ensure equal curriculum access across Birkenhead settings.
