Responsibilities- Provide dedicated classroom support for Year 1 and Year 2 students with special educational needs.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to create a calm and productive learning atmosphere.
- Apply de-escalation techniques to support students in managing their emotions and navigating challenging moments.
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans that meet the individual requirements of each pupil.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to track student progress and contribute to a supportive school culture.
- Foster a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment where every child feels valued.
- A genuine passion for working with children within an SEN setting.
- Demonstrable experience or a strong willingness to develop skills in behavior management and de-escalation.
- Exceptional communication skills and a calm, resilient approach to problem-solving.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
