Job Description - SC Cleared Electrician
Location: RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall
Contract: Initial 3-6 months with the potential for ongoing work until 2029

About the Role

We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile project with the potential for continued work based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including:
• Installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems
• Conduit installation
• Electrical containment systems
• Installation of LV distribution equipment
• Pulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cabling
• Electrical testing and fault finding where required
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations

Applicants must have

• Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - Mandatory
• Valid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black Card
• Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to quality and safe working practices

Pay & Working Hours

• £24.50 per hour
• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Standard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
• Weekend work, when available, paid x 1.5
• Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours

Contract Details

• Initial contract of 3-6 months
• Opportunity for further work on a project scheduled to continue until 2029
• Immediate starts available for suitably qualified and SC Cleared candidates
