Job Title Warehouse Administrator Summary We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support day-to-day operations at a leading renewable energy project base in Port of Tyne. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics or warehouse administration, who enjoys coordinating shipments and managing accurate inventory data. In return, you’ll join a team where your contributions help deliver efficient warehouse processes essential to a major renewables project. Salary £18 per hour Overtime payable at 1.5x standard rate Location and Working Pattern Based at the Port of Tyne. Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 This post is initially until the end of the year, however likely to be extended into 2027. Client Overview Our client is a key player in the renewable energy sector, supporting one of the largest offshore wind projects in the UK. They are committed to safety, quality, and sustainability, ensuring efficient warehousing and logistics processes to keep operations running smoothly. ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systemsProcess documentation including purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documentsCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and transport partnersMonitor stock levels and support inventory counts and reconciliationsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reportsRespond to customer and supplier inquiries regarding deliveries and stock availabilityEnsure completeness and accuracy of all warehouse documentationAssist warehouse supervisors with administrative tasks and scheduling of deliveriesMust-have RequirementsPrevious experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or inventory controlStrong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)Experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesGood communication and interpersonal skillsFluency in EnglishNice-to-have SkillsKnowledge of Oracle ERP or Asset Tracking DatabasesAdditional qualifications in business administration or logisticsApply Now Ready to bring your skills to an essential role in supporting renewable energy operations?
