Senior Full Stack Software EngineerSalary: Up to £70,000 + benefitsLocation: UK-wide opportunitiesWorking model: HybridWe’re recruiting an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a specialist software consultancy delivering bespoke solutions for complex Central Government projects.This is an opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, building modern, secure applications using Java, React, TypeScript and cloud technologies.The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will:Design, develop and test bespoke software solutionsBuild full-stack applications using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and ReactWork with open-source libraries and componentsDevelop CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLabDeploy applications across AWS, Azure and private-cloud environmentsContribute across requirements, architecture, implementation and deliverySupport the ongoing maintenance and improvement of softwareMentor engineers and lead technical delivery, depending on experienceEngage directly with government clients and stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForYou’ll have:Strong commercial software-engineering experienceFull-stack development experience with Java and ReactExperience using TypeScript and JavaScriptKnowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft AzureExperience with Agile software-development practicesA good understanding of testing, version control and CI/CDStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPrevious consultancy or government-sector experience would be beneficial but is not essential.Location and Working ArrangementsOpportunities are available across the UK, with flexible hybrid working. There will be an expectation to meet clients regularly, typically every two weeks.Security ClearanceDue to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance.
