AWS Solution Architect (Senior Manager) | Up to £120k | LondonI’m partnered with a leading global technology consultancy looking for a Senior Manager-level AWS Solution Architect to lead complex cloud transformation programmes for tier-1 clients.This is a senior architecture role combining hands-on AWS expertise, enterprise strategy and client leadership.What you’ll be doing:• Define AWS cloud strategy, governance and enterprise architecture standards• Lead large-scale cloud transformations including legacy modernisation and data centre exits• Design secure, scalable and highly available AWS architectures• Shape cloud solutions across applications, data, AI, security and integration• Work with senior stakeholders and present architecture and strategy at executive level• Drive cloud cost optimisation, resilience, performance and observability• Mentor architects, managers and consultants across the wider team• Help clients adopt modern cloud-native technologies and engineering practicesWhat they’re looking for:• Significant experience designing and implementing AWS solutions• Strong enterprise / solution architecture background• AWS Professional or Associate certification• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption and compliance• Experience across application, data and integration architecture• Understanding of AI/ML and modern data platforms• Experience with serverless, containers, microservices and CI/CD• Strong knowledge of resilience, disaster recovery and non-functional requirements• Confident engaging with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders• Consultancy or large-scale transformation experience is highly advantageous• Azure/GCP or AWS Specialty certifications would be a plusThe package:• Up to £120k basic• London• Senior Manager level• 30 days annual leave• Private medical insurance• 3 additional days for charitable work• Major cloud transformation programmes• Access to global cloud and technology expertise• Clear progression and leadership opportunitiesSecurity clearance:BPSS and SC clearance is required, including 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application.If you’re an experienced AWS Architect operating at enterprise or consulting level and looking for a Senior Manager opportunity, get in touch.
