Stevenage, Hertfordshire RG Setsquare ️🔐🚨 We're Hiring: Mechanical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) 🚨🔐⚙️ 📍 Stevenage 💷 £60,000 + £5,500 SAP Payment + Overtime 🕒 Monday – Friday 🏭 Industrial Environment | Mechanical Engineering | BOAS & Pressure Systems We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to take responsibility for the safe operation, isolation and maintenance of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on steam, boilers and pressure systems. 🔧 Key Responsibilities * ⚙️ Act as Mechanical SAP/AP for designated systems. * 🔥 Oversee steam, boiler and pressure system activities. * 🔐 Manage mechanical isolations and Permit to Work procedures. * 📋 Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are followed. * 🛡️ Ensure statutory inspections and compliance requirements are met. * 🔍 Carry out inspections, audits and technical checks. * 🛠️ Provide technical support and assistance with mechanical faults. * 🤝 Liaise with engineers, contractors and site management. * 📑 Maintain accurate engineering and compliance records. * 🦺 Ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards. 👨‍🔧 Requirements * ⚙️ Proven experience as a Mechanical SAP / AP. * 🔥 Strong steam, boiler and pressure systems experience. * 🎓 Recognised mechanical engineering qualification or time-served background. * 🔐 Experience with Permit to Work and mechanical isolation procedures. * 📋 Strong knowledge of RAMS and safe systems of work. * 🛡️ Understanding of statutory compliance and pressure systems safety. * 🏭 Experience within industrial, manufacturing or other highly regulated environments. * 💬 Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
