Humly are recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Preston from as soon as possible. This role will involve supporting pupils across the school day, working with individuals, small groups and within the classroom to help pupils stay focused, settled and engaged with their learning.
This Level 3 Teaching Assistant role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching Assistant or education professional who is confident working in a primary school setting. The role will initially run until the October half-term, with potential to continue further depending on the needs of the school.

Supporting pupils across the school day
Working with individuals, small groups and within class
Helping pupils access learning and classroom activities

£14.25 per hour
Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team
Supporting pupils with their learning across the school day
Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
Supporting pupils within the classroom
Helping pupils stay focused, settled and engaged
Supporting children to access classroom activities and learning
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning
Supporting pupils with daily school routines
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with teachers and school staff
Adapting your support to meet the needs of different pupils
Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, L3 TA, Learning Support Assistant or similar education role
Have experience working with children in a primary school setting
Are confident supporting individuals and small groups
Are patient, reliable and nurturing
Can build positive relationships with pupils
Understand the importance of calm and consistent support
Are adaptable and confident working as part of a school team
Can support pupils to remain engaged with their learning
Are available to start as soon as possible
