What You'll Do

In this pivotal role, you will assist the Home Manager in the daily operations of a residential facility supporting young people. Your primary goal is to create a warm, homely environment where every interaction-from a shared activity to providing essential emotional support-builds trust and improves lives.

  • Assist in the daily running of the home and manage essential administrative tasks.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships with young people and provide consistent emotional support.
  • Coordinate and attend important meetings with families and external social workers.
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality records using electronic care systems to monitor and update progress.
Who You Are

You are a warm, patient, and proactive leader who thrives on achieving positive outcomes for others.

  • Possess an HNC or SVQ4 in Health and Social Care, Childcare, and Education.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Demonstrate previous management experience within the social care sector.
  • Confident in using electronic systems for daily documentation and monitoring.
