People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Press Brake Technician, Industrial Press Brake Operative or Press Brake Machinist.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (rotating weekly)

Rates of Pay: £14.00 – £16.20 per hour

Day-to-day duties:

As a Press Brake Setter, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Setting up and running machines to ensure optimum efficiency
• Identifying and resolving faults during set-up in line with order requirements
• Completing paperwork and inputting data accurately into the system
• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting any issues immediately
• Ensuring adequate stock of raw materials to maintain productivity
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times
• Reporting defective machine parts promptly

Essential skills:

To be successful as a Press Brake Setter you will need:

• Previous machine operation and machinery skills
• Quality control expertise
• Proficiency in using hand tools
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• A committed attitude to continuous improvement activities such as 5S and lean production

Training:

• Full training will be provided on site, with continued development opportunities
