Minibus Driver - Windsor

My client is seeking a reliable and professional Minibus Driver to operate a scheduled minibus service between the office and local train stations/town centres in the Slough and Windsor area.

The role involves driving a 16-seat minibus under a hire and reward contract, adhering to all relevant UK driving regulations.

Working hours are split shifts starting between 7am and 11am, with a break, then resuming from 3:45pm to 7pm.

In addition to driving duties, the successful candidate will support the Facilities Manager with reasonable requests during downtime.

Responsibilities include completing health and safety documentation such as risk assessments, daily vehicle inspections, defect reporting, and driver inductions, as well as maintaining accurate passenger records.

The role requires a minimum age of 21 and a full, clean UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a minibus (D1 or D category) without restrictions. A valid Driver Qualification Card is mandatory.

The role is for a minimum of 3 months and is paying £15 per hour PAYE + holiday pay or £18.23 per hour Umbrella

Key Responsibilities:
Operate scheduled minibus routes safely and punctually.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
Maintain accurate passenger number records and other required paperwork.
Support the Facilities Manager with additional tasks as needed.
Comply with all health and safety and legal requirements related to vehicle operation.
Conduct driver inductions and risk assessments as required.

Skills:
Full, clean UK driving licence with D1 or D entitlement (no restrictions, e.g. code 101)
Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) – mandatory
Minimum age of 21 years
Strong knowledge of UK road safety and minibus regulations
Ability to complete health and safety documentation accurately
Good time management and reliability
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work split shifts and adapt to varying start times
Attention to detail for vehicle checks and record keeping
Flexibility to assist with additional duties as requested
