Teaching Assistants – Southfleet

We are recruiting on behalf of a handful of primary Schools who are looking for general Teaching assistants.

Your position will be working with children from EYFS-KS2 and will be working as a whole class teaching assistant, however on occasions you may be required to work 1:1 with individual students.

Your role will to be supporting the class Teacher with the every day running of the classroom and helping all students within the classroom. You may be asked to take out small groups for booster sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build productive relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and setting high expectations.
• Recognize and respond to individual needs, providing consistent support.
• Encourage cooperation and interaction among pupils, engaging them in activities
• Promote independence and reward self-reliance and achievement.

Requirements:

• TA qualification or a degree
• 6 months experience working with children
• Enhanced DBS assigned to the online update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Reliable and trustworthy with a passion for working with children
