We are recruiting for an outstanding Autism Accredited specialist school supporting children and young people aged 7-19 with high-functioning autism and associated learning needs. Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is dedicated to providing exceptional education, care, and support that helps students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with autism on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  * Help deliver engaging and structured learning activities
  * Promote communication, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing
  * Support behaviour regulation using positive strategies
  * Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills development
  * Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  * Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
