This is a rewarding and varied role, supporting students both in and out of the classroom to help them achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEND team, you will play a key role in supporting learning, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring students can access the curriculum effectively. The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is committed to supporting students to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Builds positive and professional relationships with students, staff, parents and carers.

- Can work effectively as part of a team whilst also using initiative when required.
- Is able to support students with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy and resilience when working with young people.
- Can adapt learning activities and provide targeted support under the direction of teaching staff.
- Has good organisational skills and can maintain accurate records where required.
- Is confident using basic IT systems and digital resources to support learning.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and promoting student wellbeing.
- Shares our commitment to inclusion and ensuring every student can succeed.
