About Us

Saveco is a well-established, fast-growing supermarket and online grocery business based in Bradford. We operate both local and nationwide deliveries, providing customers with fresh groceries, fruit and vegetables, halal meat and household essentials.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee our daily online order fulfilment and delivery operations.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can lead a team effectively and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily online order picking, packing and dispatch operations.
Plan and coordinate local delivery routes, ensuring efficient use of drivers and vehicles.
Supervise picking, packing and delivery staff, allocating tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure orders are picked accurately, quality checked and dispatched on time.
Coordinate nationwide courier collections and ensure orders meet dispatch deadlines.
Monitor delivery progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
Work closely with customer service to resolve shortages, substitutions, delivery queries and complaints.
Maintain high standards of stock handling, food safety and product quality.
Manage daily workloads, staff cover and operational priorities.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
Take ownership of daily operations and ensure smooth communication between departments.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, dispatch or a supervisory role.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Confidence managing and motivating a small team.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing tasks.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers, mobile apps and order management systems.
A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team when needed.
Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.
Experience in grocery retail, e-commerce fulfilment or multi-drop delivery operations would be advantageous.
