Van Driver / Multi-Drop Delivery & Assembly – Crewe, Cheshire – £13.75 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Crewe, Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.75 per hour, consistent full-time work, Monday-to-Friday shifts, overtime opportunities, paid training and the potential to secure a permanent position. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and assisting with the assembly of healthcare equipment, including beds.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver or Delivery and Assembly Driver.

Important: This is a hands-on delivery role involving the assembly of healthcare equipment at delivery locations. Candidates must be comfortable undertaking both driving and assembly duties.

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 05:00
• Average shift length: 11–12 hours

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Van Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Loading your vehicle each morning before starting deliveries
• Completing approximately 10–15 deliveries per shift
• Assisting with the assembly of healthcare products, including beds
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
• Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office
• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and correctly throughout the shift

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• Full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months' van delivery experience
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences
• Reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Willingness to assist with healthcare equipment assembly

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop van driving experience
• Previous experience delivering or assembling furniture or equipment

Training Provided

• Driver assessment, including theory and on-road evaluation
• Two-day paid induction following a successful assessment
• One week of on-the-job training alongside an experienced driver
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
