Connex Education is recruiting Classroom Support Assistants to provide high-quality classroom support across partner schools in Cannock. This opportunity is ideal for graduates, career changers, or individuals with relevant experience looking to begin or continue a rewarding career in education.

The Schools

Partner schools support pupils across all key stages and pride themselves on creating welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environments. You'll work closely with teaching staff to support pupils' academic progress, behaviour, and well-being—ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.

What You'll Need

✅ Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar educational setting (voluntary or paid)
✅ Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning) or degree in education/related field (preferred but not essential)
✅ Confidence supporting pupils in the classroom, one-to-one or in small groups
✅ Ability to assist with general classroom tasks, lesson preparation, and behaviour management
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships
✅ Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to different classroom environments
✅ Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
✅ Proof of right to work in the UK (required to apply)
