RGB Recruitment is working with an established construction contractor to recruit a Site Manager to oversee structural and frame packages on a project in Exeter.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy project team, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of key construction packages through to completion.

The Role:
You will oversee day-to-day site operations relating to the structural works, ensuring subcontractors are effectively managed and works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing structural and frame work packages from start to completion.
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site activities.
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing any delays or issues.
• Working closely with commercial, design and engineering teams.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality control.
• Supporting cost management, valuations and variations.
• Leading site coordination and progress meetings.
• Overseeing inspections, snagging and defect resolution.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Experience overseeing structural, frame or shell and core packages.
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills.
• Good understanding of construction programmes, quality and health and safety.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to drive site progress.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
