SEND Teaching Assistants - Sutton, Greater London Tradewind have a wealth of opportunities available to SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with mild, moderate and behavioural learning needs across mainstream primary schools in Sutton! We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants for this work - with both part and full time opportunities across the borough. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed. The Role:

• Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil
• Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Dysregulation
• Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development
• Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support plan
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ideally hold minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or minimum 1 year experience supporting SEN (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and well-being
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Available Monday to Friday ideally, or minimum 3 days per week

Pay: £93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting. £100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting pupils with SEND including ASc, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
