Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer £500 - £550 PER DAY | OUTSIDE IR35 | BEDFORD We're looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity in Bedford. If you have a strong background in mechanical systems, industrial plant, machinery and complex engineering projects, this could be your next assignment. THE DETAILS £500–£550 per day Outside IR35 Bedford 5 days per week on site WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Taking technical ownership of mechanical engineering projects. Maintaining, upgrading and improving existing plant and machinery. Leading refurbishment and upgrade programmes. Designing and introducing new mechanical systems. Troubleshooting breakdowns and resolving complex engineering issues. Managing projects from design through to installation and commissioning. Working with suppliers, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar. 5–10 years' relevant industrial engineering experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial machinery. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating machinery, compressors or cooling systems. Experience delivering engineering projects and managing design changes. CATIA, MATLAB or similar software experience would be beneficial. A proactive engineer who can take ownership and drive solutions through to delivery.IND4 WHY CONSIDER IT?
