Support Worker

Dimensions is recruiting a part-time Support Worker (30 hours a week) in Radstock (BA3), near Bath and Bristol, to give 1:1 support to an active, sociable man in his 30s with autism, a learning disability and sensory processing differences, with extra 2:1 support each day.

What you will do:

• Support him with personal care, meals and healthy eating
• Give medication and support his sensory needs and routines
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support guidance
• Help him enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, archery, shopping, outdoor activities and holidays
• Work closely with his family and colleagues

• A patient, caring, outgoing and energetic person who enjoys being out and about
• Comfort supporting cycling, swimming and outdoor activities

Shifts include a 9am–9am long day with sleep-in and 2:1 day shifts, with 1–2 sleep-ins a week. Aspiring drivers are welcome.

Pay stated by the employer: £14.86 per hour plus £50 per sleep-in.
