Affinity Workforce is working in partnership with secondary schools and a Multi Academy Trust in Melksham, and we are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to support across a range of year groups and subjects.

We have a high demand for staff, offering both flexible day to day cover and longer term teaching placements. Whether you're looking for ad hoc work, consistent bookings, or a long term role, we can help find the right opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising lessons using pre-prepared work set by teaching staff
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
• Providing support and guidance to students where appropriate
• Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
• Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress, behaviour, and pupil engagement
• Supporting the wider school team when required

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting (desirable)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence leading groups of students aged 11-16 and 11-18
• A flexible, professional, and proactive approach
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Degree qualification or relevant experience working with young people (desirable)
