People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our well-established client based in Severn Beach, Bristol, on a full-time temporary-to-permanent basis.

Shifts

 • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
 • 10:00 – 22:00
 • Full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity

Rates of Pay

 • Basic hourly rate to be confirmed
 • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

 • Overseeing the day-to-day running of warehouse operations
 • Ensuring colleagues, stock and resources are aligned to meet operational targets safely and efficiently
 • Working on the warehouse floor, supporting colleagues and resolving operational issues
 • Working closely with Shift Managers to maintain efficient warehouse operations
 • Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance standards
 • Managing shift resources, including workforce planning, overtime, holiday coordination, absence management and return-to-work conversations
 • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Team Leader, you will need:

 • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment, ideally with experience leading or supervising colleagues
 • Good knowledge of warehouse operations and the confidence to make practical decisions that support performance
 • Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements within an operational environment
 • Strong communication skills and a positive, supportive leadership style

 • Structured induction to help you understand the operation and your responsibilities
 • Ongoing training and development support throughout your assignment
