About the role
across London, Kent and Essex is looking for a Business Development Manager at this pivotal stage of their growth.
Along with a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, you will also receive a commission structure and a company car/car allowance.
Responsibilities as Business Development Manager
- Develop and implement annual business development and growth strategies.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and revenue streams for structural engineering services.
- Create and execute business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Establish strategic partnerships with developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and government agencies.
- Identify opportunities for geographical and sector expansion.
- Lead the business development team to achieve company revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Oversee key account acquisition and retention programs.
- Drive conversion of large-scale project opportunities
- Lead the identification and qualification of tender opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements.
You will also develop sales strategies for key sectors including:
- Commercial developments
- Residential projects
- Industrial facilities
- Infrastructure projects
- Renewable energy structures
- Public sector developments
- A degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within engineering, construction or consulting sectors.
- Proven experience in managing high-value client relationships and securing large projects.
