£15 - £17 per hour | Monday to Friday | 8am - 4:45pm

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Material Handler to join a busy and well-established operation. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience operating heavy plant machinery, handling materials and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy yard.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on 360 Material Handler who can work safely, efficiently and as part of a team. Candidates with previous yard supervisory experience will also be considered for a higher hourly rate.

Pay rates:

• £15 per hour for an experienced 360 Material Handler.
  
  
• £17 per hour for candidates with additional yard supervisory experience.
  
  

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:45pm.
  
  
• 45-minute unpaid break per day.
  
  
• No weekend working.
  
  

The Role:

• Operating a 360-material handler with grab attachment to move, load and sort materials.
  
  
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Moving and organising materials around the yard.
  
  
• Ensuring the yard is kept tidy, safe and organised.
  
  
• Following all health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Supporting the wider team with general yard duties.
  
  
• For candidates with supervisory experience, assisting with the day-to-day running and organisation of the yard.
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience operating a 360-material handler with grab attachment is essential.
  
  
• Valid FLT experience/licence is essential.
  
  
• Previous experience working within a busy yard or material handling environment.
  
  
• Teletruck experience is preferred.
  
  
• Previous yard supervisory experience would be advantageous.
  
  
• A good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.
  
  
• A reliable, hardworking and practical approach to work.
